Norton – Zimbabwe’s firebrand legislator for Norton Constituency, Honourable Temba Mliswa today has expressed massive gratitude to British businessman and cleric, Prophet Uebert Angel and his Uebert Angel Foundation for Covid-19 donations delivered in his constituency this morning.
The donations, part of Angel’s $1 million USD relief package were delivered across several wards in the city.
Mliswa had led several calls for intensified efforts to relieve Zimbabwe’s vulnerable population, many of whom are reeling after a three week lockdown.
Zimbabwe’s economy is largely informal, and many people have lost all sources of income and an ability to generate any form of livelihood – a scenario which has been compounded by a 14 day extension to the lockdown.
Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, Mliswa thanked Angel, whom he described as answering to please for help.
