HARARE-Four Harare men have been hauled before a Harare magistrate on charges of fraud after they had a conspired and forged drivers’ licence discs.

Tonderai Mashonganyika (42), Jonh Tendai Chipana (43), Kirthmore Maqoka (40) and Farai Mambemba (37) appeared before Harare Magistrate Barbra Mateko and were remanded to April 30 in custody after the State led by Sebastian Mutizirwa opposed their bail.
The quartet stands accused of deceiving Tapiwa Gangaranga by forging a drivers licence disc number at Foundation Mutual Building, Cnr K. Nkuruma and Kaguvi Street, Harare on April 12.
It is alleged that Mashonganyika handed over the forged driver’s licence to Tapiwa Dangaranga, and he was eventually arrested for that.
The other were arrested after they were found in possession of  more forged driver’s licenses, fake national identity cards, defensive driving certificates, and class 1 journeyman certificates, the court heard.
