Chidawu named minister of state for Harare

Harare – President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Harare senator Oliver Chidawu as the new Minister if State for Privincial Affairs in the capital, six months after his inauguration.

Chidawu, a prominent businessmen and a close ally of the Presidnet takes over a post that had been vacate for months after the departure of Chikukwa.
In a press statement chief Secretary to thePresidnet, Misheck Sibanda, said ExMnangagwa appointed the new minister with the effect from friday.
His Excellence President E D Mnangagwa has , in terms of Section 104 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe Ammendment No.20 of 2013, appointed Senator Oliver Chidawu as the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs, Harare Metropolitan Province. The appointment is with the effect from today , 8arch 2019″, he said
