Harare – The Thokozani Khupe led  MDC-T has described MDC Alliance leader as selfish who has no sympathy for the suffering masses.

Linda Masarira MDC-T spokesperson said that by failing to attend the national dialogue held at State House on Wednesday Chamisa showed that he was self-centered and not a champion of the mass.

“Chamisa’s failure to attend the national dialogue which was held at State House on Wednesday revealed that he is not painfully concerned with the plight of Zimbabweans but he just want to play unfruitful political games whilst people are struggling,” said Masarira.

“It was a good option by ED Mnangagwa to summon different political parties and have a national dialogue but the unexpected decision which was made by Nelson Chamisa not to attend the dialogue depicted him as an individualistic leader” she said.

The MDC declined to attend the meeting saying they wanted a neutral person to mediate and a venue not controlled by Mnangagwa.

“This dialogue is not what Chamisa wants or what national executive wants but what the people of Zimbabwe are looking forward and by doing so it shows that Harvest house is infested with selfish individuals who are desperate for the attention especially from the international community and they believe that Zimbabwe solutions lies in their international handlers than the people of Zimbabwe” the MDC information head said

“The purpose of this dialogue is to heal Zimbabwe, bringing our divided citizen together which means that MDC doesn’t want to see people of Zimbabwe working together beyond political affiliations, political conflicts and tensions,” a  political analyst Peter Tangi said

“Chamisa should have shown his patriotic nature by supporting the national agenda which he has been yearning for , for months,”
said Tangi

“It is very unfortunate that the man who has been craving for GNU is the same man who has refused to accept what he requested. Chamisa is disappointing to  Zimbabweans and we now question his motives behind his indecisiveness”.
