Expensive shoes for late journalist Chanetsa’s send off

As the media fraternity and family continue to celebrate the life of  STAR FM foreign correspondent Millicent Chanetsa who passed on Tuesday in South Africa, her family has pulled a shocker.

Millicent was a well known fashionista who had a penchant for expensive designer labels and as such the family has asked her close male friend to choose one of the most expensive shoes that she would wear on her burial.

The friend chose a pair of  sleek orange boots but we could not ascertain the actual price by the time of publishing..

However, fashionistas told this publication that it was a high end and one would have to dig deeper in the pockets to purchase that ‘hot’ number.

The late Millicent was born on August 9 1984 and attended Msengezi High School in Mashonaland West before taking up a career in journalism.

Her memorial service was held on Thursday at Pretoria Showgrounds and more details of the funeral wake are still to be announced.
