Mnangagwa meets Zim’s ambassadors

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today met with Zimbabwe’s ambassadors and heads of missions from around the world where he briefed them on his vision for the Second Republic following his electoral victory in the hotly contesetd July 31 polls.

After his closed door meeting Mnangagwa posted on the twitter microblogging site saying he has shared his vision with the ambassadors.

“This morning I met with our ambassadors from around the world, to brief them about our measures to rebuild the economy, and to empower them to promote trade, encourage investment and ensure that our message, “Zimbabwe is open for business”, reverberates around the world!”

The meeting comes at a time when ambassadors and foreign mission officials have not been getting salaries in the past two years.
